Once you tackle the big items, everything else will feel like a breeze. If you still don’t know where to start with your spring cleaning, check out our favorite tips below!

1. Get Rid of Any Clothes You Haven’t Worn in the Last Six Months

It’s so easy to accumulate clothing throughout the year! The best way to go through your closet is to go through each article of clothing and think about when you last wore it. If it’s been more than six months, you probably won’t be wearing it any time soon! Donating your clothes and accessories to a local charity is a great way to get them out of your closet.

2. Go Through Bathroom Cabinets

We all have a stash of beauty products in our bathroom that we know we’ll never use. From tiny shampoo samples, to expired makeup, to that lotion that doesn’t work but you haven’t brought yourself to throw away. It’s time to go through these items and part with anything you know you won’t use.
